About Camp McPherson

MIKE LITTIG

I began coming to Camp McPherson as a camper when I was in the 3rd grade. I attended through my senior year in high school. When I was old enough, during the camps that I wasn’t attending, I worked as kitchen staff during the summer. I also had served as a counselor and part of the music ministry team a few years after high school. In March, 2003, the opportunity presented itself where I was able to come on staff full time. Some of my responsibilities now include being a maintenance apprentice, activity coordinator, and occasional server in the dining hall. Also, as of this past summer, we now have paintball available as one of our many activities. It has been a challenge to design and construct the paintball courses, but the people who have participated so far, have enjoyed them. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. It has been a real blessing for me to offer back to others what the Camp has offered to me over the years. The Camp truly is an area that God has richly blessed and I am thankful that I am a part of His blessing.
